Self-Sustainable Chair :: J o o Y o u n ::

Here's the wardrobe/chair of the future. The chair inflates while you walk, enabling you to rest periodically. You have to see the video to really understand the impact of this fashion statement - notice the looks from passersby. I especially love watching JooYoun's face slowly sink out of sight as the chair deflates while she's reading her book.

Tenacious taxation

I came across this editorial cartoon on TownHall.com. I thought it was pretty insightful...

"One of the best parades..."

From The Times Record, the story of a parade in Bath, Maine begins like this:

"Except for a tragic accident, the 35th annual Bath Heritage Days parade went off without a hitch."

The article then enthusiastically tells the tale of the wonderful parade, with no mention of an accident, tragic or otherwise. Well.

Boeing 7*7-Series Planes

Here's a cool story and picture:

"Amid all the 787 roll-out hoopla, perhaps the coolest event went unnoticed. On Saturday night, Boeing had all of the 787 airline representatives at an event at the Museum of Flight in Renton, WA . At 7:07 PM, an Omega Air Refueling Services 707 landed in front of the crowd (after taking off from Paine Field in Everrett). At 7:17, an AirTran 717 landed. This continued until 8:17 when an Air France 777-300ER landed. In the end, the 707,717, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, and 777 were lined up nose-to-tail on the taxiway. It is the first time Boeing has had every 7-series airplane in the same place (not counting the 787, which couldn't make the flight, of course)."

What, 3 days in a row?

Three occurrences in rapid succession means that a pattern has been
established. We'll see if we get an entry tomorrow...

This is only a test...

Had this been an actual blog entry, you would have been directed to
move indoors immediately - it is not clear how long pigs can stay
airborne.

If this is a blog...

If a Blog is a Web Log, and a log is, in this case, a record of
personal thoughts and observations, then the fact that this particular
blog has not been updated in so long must imply something about the
personal thought processes and observational skills of the author.

Indeed?
